Our Day Opportunities
Our Day Opportunities provide an extensive range of innovative, person centred leisure, vocational and work based activities, in a variety of settings to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism,
Epilepsy and other complex needs.
The services are developed for each individual by supporting their interests and promoting their strengths. Using person centred approaches, the service gives people the opportunity to grow, develop practical and interpersonal skills, build confidence, have fun and meet new people, in a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment.
We offer flexibility in attendance with people participating from
one day to five days each week.
Sessions: offered Monday to Friday depending on availability.
Times: 09:30 – 16:00

The Service can be purchased through direct payments, privately funded, Local Authority or through the CHC.

The application process involves the following steps:
Contact us to arrange a
visit to David Lewis (see above for contact details).If we feel that we can offer a placement, we will offer an assessment. As part of the assessment process, we may make a home visit or a visit to the Individuals current placement.
Once the assessment has been completed, if we believe that the Day Opportunities is the right place, we will offer a place and if this is accepted, you will need to submit an application for funding to the relevant agencies. If we don’t believe this to be the case, we will provide a clear explanation of why we think this is so.
Once funding has been confirmed, we will put a plan in place to support the individual’s transition into the service.
